As night falls, Pukenamu Queen’s Park and Whanganui’s Cultural Precinct are transformed through light. Architectural illumination and projection mapping bring the Whanganui War Memorial Centre, Whanganui Regional Museum, Te Whare o Rehua Sarjeant Gallery and surrounding precinct features to life, creating a connected after-dark design experience through one of the city’s most significant public spaces.
Free and family-friendly, Night Lights invites everyone to explore the precinct after dark and see familiar buildings, architecture and landscapes in a completely different way.
